We have seen countless fatigue-fighters, but nothing compares to the simple effectiveness of NoWhey Beta Alanine. It provides exactly what the label says - pure Beta Alanine to buffer lactic acid - making it the undisputed champion for athletes seeking 'No Frills' endurance.
Three outcomes - measured in the rep you used to fail on, not in marketing claims.
Your last rep isn’t strength - it’s pH. Acid hits faster than your buffer clears it. Beta-alanine builds the buffer 40-80% taller.
Push past rep 8 and lactic acid hits your muscle faster than the buffer can clear it. pH drops. The contraction signal fires but the muscle can't respond. The set ends.
Beta-alanine builds the buffer 40-80% taller. The ceiling moves. So does your last rep.
Probably yes - different mechanism, different problem. Creatine helps your first 5-15 seconds of effort (ATP regeneration). Pre-workouts give you a stimulant kick. Beta-alanine works on a third system entirely: pH buffering during the 60-240 second window where most working sets actually live. The three stack cleanly because they don't compete. If your sets fail by rep 8 with the burn, beta-alanine is the missing piece.
Almost certainly not. Most pre-workouts ship 1.5-2.5g per scoop hidden in a proprietary blend. The research-backed loading dose is 4-6g per day for 4-12 weeks. You'd have to take 2-3 scoops of pre-workout daily to get there, and the caffeine alone would wreck your sleep. Standalone beta-alanine lets you load properly without the stim cost.
Pure beta-alanine. That's it. No flavouring, no sweeteners, no anti-caking agents, no proprietary blend. Every milligram is the active ingredient. 250g per tub - ~62 days at 4g/day, ~50 at 5g/day.
Yes. Our beta-alanine is produced via plant-based fermentation. Zero animal-derived ingredients.
It's called paraesthesia - harmless tingling/itching, usually across the face, neck, and hands, that starts about 10-20 minutes after you dose and fades within 30-60 minutes. It happens because beta-alanine briefly binds to a specific class of nerve receptors (MrgprD) in the skin. Zero connection to muscle effect, zero long-term issue, fully reversible the second you finish dosing. To minimise it: split your daily dose into 2g chunks taken a few hours apart. The total loading rate stays the same, the tingle drops dramatically.
Yes - it's one of the most heavily researched ergogenic aids on the market. Multiple meta-analyses confirm 4-6g/day for 4-12 weeks raises muscle carnosine 40-80%. Performance benefits show up specifically in the 60-240 second exhaustion window (so: set lengths of 1-4 minutes, high-rep work, fight rounds, sprint intervals). It does NOT help 1RM strength and does NOT help endurance work over 10 minutes. Right tool for the right job.
In the trials, late-set effects start showing around week 4 of consistent daily dosing, with full saturation (a 40-80% muscle-carnosine increase) landing between weeks 8-12. Beta-alanine doesn't work like caffeine - there's no "today's workout" effect, you're loading a system that compounds over weeks. Skip days and the loading stalls.
Two 2g scoops a day (4g total), mixed in water, juice, your morning shake, or your pre-workout. Timing doesn't matter - consistency does. If the tingle is uncomfortable, take them apart: 2g morning, 2g pre-workout. Stick with it 8 weeks minimum to feel the full effect.
Yes - beta-alanine works on a different system to all three. Creatine = ATP. Aminos = MPS. Pre-workout = stimulant. Beta-alanine = pH buffering. Stack them all. Many lifters dump their beta-alanine scoop straight into their pre-workout shake - fine, no interaction, just be aware some pre-workouts already contain a sub-clinical dose.
Technically yes - any amino acid intake triggers a mild insulin response. But beta-alanine has 0g sugar, 0g carbs, 0g fat. Won't kick you out of ketosis on keto, won't disrupt a fat-loss deficit. If you're strict-IF for autophagy, take it inside your eating window. If you're IF for body composition, time it however suits.
60-Day Try-It Guarantee. Use it as directed for up to two months. If you're not noticing more late-set reps or longer time-to-failure on your working sets, email sales@nowheydeals.com.au on your first order and we'll make it right - store credit or a swap, or a refund if you'd prefer. Giving it a genuine go and using most of the tub won't count against you. One claim per customer, on top of your NZ and Australian consumer-law rights.
